The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Department has extended the time frame for when a two-block stretch of South Beacon Street will close for storm water improvements.

The department announces that because of inclement weather, the street will close intermittently between West 11th and 14th Streets to through traffic, at any point between Monday, Feb. 17 and Friday, Feb. 28. Closures would only occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Inclement weather may delay the project further. Travelers are advised to find an alternate route to their destination.
