Arriving with the wintry precipitation Tuesday morning are extremely cold temperatures for the next several days.

Meteorologist Harrison Hayes with the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill says much of the region is under a cold weather advisory Feb. 18 and 19, 2025, with extreme cold expected Wednesday and Thursday.

However, Hayes notes that after subzero temperatures Wednesday and Thursday night, temperatures are expected to jump above average this weekend and approach the mid 50s by Monday.
