The Presidents’ Day holiday and wintry weather are resulting in Sedalia’s city council now meeting Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Council members will have four ordinances to consider when they meet Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Two ordinances pertain to rezoning requests, one that would see Irene Circle just east of U.S. Route 65 changed to light industrial, and the other rezoning property on East Third Street to light industrial from heavy. Another ordinance would see the council accept the final plat for a residential subdivision near West 12th and Winchester. A fourth ordinance would allow overnight camping in Liberty Park for the Big Bike Across Missouri (Big BAM) on June 2 and Oct. 6.
