The 15th-ranked Missouri Tigers have another tough task ahead of them Wednesday, Feb. 19, as the Tigers prepare to host the fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide at Mizzou Arena.

Mizzou currently sit fifth in the SEC with an 8-4 mark, and while they’re considered by several bracketologists to be a lock for the NCAA tournament, they’d like to move into the top four to be assured of a double-bye into the quarterfinals of the conference tournament next month in Nashville. The Tigers are currently on a two-game winning streak, including an 87-74 win Saturday at Georgia. Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide are second in the conference with a 10-2 record, falling to archrivals Auburn 94-85 on Saturday to snap a seven-game winning streak. Tonight’s matchup features two of the top teams in the country when it comes to three-point baskets and free-throws, as both Mizzou and Alabama are averaging eight treys and 18 made free throws per contest.

Tonight’s game tips off at 8 p.m., with pregame around 7:30 p.m. on KMMO-FM 102.9.
