The Moberly City Council approved a motion to execute a fireworks display agreement during its meeting on Tuesday, February 18.

The council approved the agreement with J and M Displays Inc. while approving its consent agenda. This agreement is for all fireworks displays in 2025.

The council also approved a request from “Run for Her Life” to hold a Mother’s Day 5K on Sunday, May 11. The goal of this event is to raise funds for families fighting cancer. The council approved this event with a unanimous vote.
