A Sedalia man suffered moderate injuries after overturning his car Wednesday, Feb. 19 on a Pettis County highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 29-year-old man was driving east on U.S. Route 50 around 7 p.m. According to their report, the man lost control of his car at the intersection with Prairie Grove Road west of La Monte, went off the right side of the road, and overturned. The driver was taken to a Warrensburg hospital. Troopers say he was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
