With district tournaments just over a week away, high school basketball teams won’t have much time to thaw out after this week’s snowfall and deep freeze. The Cougars of Crest Ridge are scheduled to have their den west of Warrensburg warmed up Thursday evening for a doubleheader against St Paul Lutheran; pregame on KMMO-FM 102.9 is scheduled for 5:50 p.m. ahead of the girls game. The boys contest is expected to follow around 7:30 p.m.
