A crash involving two semi-trucks in Southwest Missouri on Friday morning claimed the lives of both drivers, including a Knob Noster man.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 61-year-old man was driving south on Route 43 through Barton County. At around 10:15 a.m., his truck crossed the center line near the Nashville community and struck a Freightliner head-on, causing the other truck to catch fire. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
