Days after announcing its Interim Artistic Director, the Lyceum Theatre has announced Pete Herber as its new Managing Director.

The theatre says Herber will take care of the multifaceted business of the theatre on an interim basis.

His numerous theatrical credits include the role of student leader Enjolras in “Les Misérables” on Broadway and in that show’s national and Canadian tours. He worked alongside the legendary Chita Rivera in the national tour of “Kiss of the Spiderwoman” and appeared off-Broadway in “Captains Courageous” with Mandy Patinkin, J.K. Simmons, and the late Treat Williams.

Herber has also previously worked and performed in many historic venues, including Baltimore’s revered France Merrick Performing Arts Center, where he was corporate sales manager.
