The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin periodic lane closures Monday, March 3 on Interstate 70 as they begin to rebuild the Lemon Trail Bridge in eastern Saline County.

The old bridge near mile marker 81.6, three miles east of the Marshall Junction, was removed last month after it had been struck multiple times. The new bridge is expected to open in August, weather permitting.
