The next round of wintry weather will brush West Central Missouri on Tuesday, ushered in by significant gusts.

A high wind warning will go into effect Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 9 p.m. for our area counties until 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 5. National Weather Service Lead Meteorologist Chris Bowman says areas just to the west, including the Kansas City Metro, are looking at blizzard conditions starting tonight.

Bowman says wind gusts will be strong throughout the region.

Bowman says most of the region could see up to an inch-and-a-half of snow accumulation, with the system clearing out by Wednesday around noon.
