Seniors from Cairo and Slater lead the selections for the Central Activities Conference all-conference basketball teams.

Macie Harman of Cairo is this year’s girls MVP, leading the Bearcats to a 10-0 record in the CAC and overall record of 20-6. The Bearcats have been ranked first in the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association’s Class One poll for much of the season. Harman’s teammates, senior Avery Brumley and junior Olivia Cross, are also first-team selections, while junior Mallori Hankins is an honorable mention.

Slater’s Brandon Terrill is the boys MVP for this season. The Wildcats picked up their first conference title in basketball since 2020, going 10-0 in the conference while posting an overall record of 19-4. Slater placed two players on the first team, senior Keiton Head and sophomore Nixon Sanders, while junior Ben Gochenour was an honorable mention. Cairo and Glasgow both had three players each on the first team, with Glasgow also adding two to the honorable mention list.
