The Saline County Career Center Future Business Leaders of America have earned the Gold Level in the Chapter of the Year award program.

Out of 450 Missouri FBLA Chapters, SCCC FBLA is one of 43 to be named a Gold Level Chapter. This is the highest level of distinction a chapter can earn as chapters are ranked gold, silver, bronze, and honor roll based on the Chapter of the Year criteria.

This is the third year the SCCC FBLA Chapter has completed the Chapter of the Year award program. This competitive application judges a chapter on its body of work throughout a school year. Chapters must exhibit involvement in Missouri and national FBLA programs, commitment to community service projects, dedication to local chapter success, and the promotion of Career and Technical Education. The application includes submitting pictures of activities, press releases, an active social media presence, and following the guidelines and deadlines of the application handbook.

The chapter will be recognized for their accomplishments on stage at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Springfield, April 13 – 15.
