A Knob Noster woman was killed after her Jeep went off a Johnson County roadway Wednesday, March 5.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 47-year-old driver was heading west on Route E near Northeast 1221 Road, about eight miles north of Knob Noster. Troopers say that at around 8:30 a.m., the Jeep crossed the center of the roadway and went off the road. The Jeep then overturned and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Patrol’s report does not mention if high winds or road conditions played a factor in the crash, which was Troop A’s 11th reported traffic fatality of the year.
