A pair of change orders received the approval of the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education on Monday, March 3.
The two change orders totaled $8899. Supt. Dr Todd Fraley says one change order aims to reduce the noise between classrooms at Sedalia Middle School.
The other change order adjusted how the refurbished gym floor at Smith-Cotton Junior High is painted and stained.
Also at Monday night’s meeting, the board accepted a pair of donations to pay down some outstanding student lunch balances.
Sedalia’s school board also approved the installation of a concrete pad at Smith-Cotton High School at $49,980 to allow the potential construction of a maintenance shed. The board also accepted five career and technical education program evaluations, and approved amendments to the district’s budget.
