The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout multiple area counties from March 10-14.

In Chariton County, shoulder work is underway along Route 11 from U.S. Route 24 in Brunswick north to Route M, just south of the Salt Creek Bridge that remains closed until March for a bridge replacement project.

In Johnson County, brush cutting work is scheduled on Missouri Highway 13 between Route PP and Southeast 600 Road from Monday through Wednesday. Brush cutting work is also scheduled on Route AA between Missouri Highway 58 and Northwest 450 Road, as well as Route MM between Route E and Northeast 600 Road throughout the week. Ditch work is planned on Route B between Route N and the Johnson County line Monday through Friday.

Culvert replacement work is scheduled at several locations in Lafayette County. The work is taking place on Route AA between Van Meter Road and Summers Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. The work is also scheduled on Missouri Highway 13 at 24th Street Terrace in Higginsville on Thursday.

In Pettis County, brush cutting operations are planned on Route O between Route HH and Route N Monday through Friday.

Pothole patching work is taking place in Missouri Highway 240 in Saline County, between Highway 65 and Highway 41 South. Flagging operations will be in effect from Monday through Friday. Ditch work is also taking place in Missouri Highway 127 between Route ZZ and 150th Road.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. All work is weather permitting.
