A crash involving three vehicles in Cooper County sent a Sedalia woman to a Columbia hospital Tuesday, March 11.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at around 4:40 p.m., the 40-year-old woman was driving south on Route 5 about seven miles southwest of Boonville. Troopers say that just past the intersection with Hawk Hill Lane, her vehicle crossed the center line and side-swiped an unknown vehicle, then struck a tow truck in the northbound lane. The Sedalia woman was taken to Columbia with moderate injuries. The tow truck driver had no reported injuries. The third vehicle involved did not stop and was not located by troopers.
