No injuries were reported after crews battled a house fire Wednesday, March 12 in Sweet Springs.

According to a post from the West Central Fire District, firefighters from Sweet Springs and Blackburn responded to the fire around 7:25 a.m. on Bridge Street. Crews spotted smoke venting out the roof upon their arrival, and were able to evacuate the house and extinguish the blaze. Firefighters also received assistance from Concordia Fire, Sweet Springs Ambulance and Sweet Springs Police.
