KMMO marked 40 years of celebrating agriculture in the Missouri River Valley and beyond at the 2025 KMMO Ag Day on Thursday, March 13.

Mull Farms outside Malta Bend hosted the event, which saw over 120 area farmers and ag leaders enjoy lunch and several speeches. One of the addresses was delivered by Missouri Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn. After the event, she reflected on the role Ag Day has played in celebrating the area’s farmers for 40 years.

Chinn says events like KMMO Ag Day highlight the close ties that agriculture forges between farmers and their families.

“Loos Tales” host Trent Loos was the keynote speaker, reflecting on his years of advocating for family farms, while Brownfield Ag Operations director Cyndi Young also delivered remarks.
