Several city governments are slated to meet Monday and Tuesday.

The Concordia Board of Aldermen is meeting tonight at 5 p.m. to consider the second reading of a 20-year franchise extension with Evergy Missouri Metro, Inc. The board also plans meet with a representative of InfinityTech regarding cybersecurity and IT services for the city.

The Higginsville Board of Aldermen is meeting at 6 p.m. to approve amendments to the city code and an agreement for the city’s fireworks display. The Carrollton Town Council is also meeting at 6 to adopt the 2025 Budget.

The Sedalia City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. with the plan to adopt this year’s budget as well. The Boonville City Council is scheduled to meet at 7. The council will adopt the fiscal year budget for 2025-2026 and will also consider an ordinance to amend the rates for water and wastewater service portions.

The Marshall City Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday, March 18.
