The Concordia R-2 Board of Education held a discussion regarding the salary schedule for certified and classified staff during its March 12 meeting.

The discussion centered largely around the changes the district’s salaries would see following the passage of Senate Bill 727 during the 2024 Legislative Session. Superintendent Theresa Christian highlights some of the impacts of the bill.

Christian says there is a lot for the district to consider as the changes get implemented over the next few years.

Christian says the board plans to vote on the salary schedule during its next meeting in April.
