Sue Ellen Renne, 77, of Carrollton, MO, died Friday, March 14, 2025, at NorthCare Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the First Christian Church in Carrollton, with Pastor Dan North officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton. Born February 5, 1948, in Carrollton, MO, she was the daughter of the late Joyce Reuter and Lavena Parker Reuter. She lived in Carrollton her entire life and was as a graduate of Carrollton High School and earned a degree in cosmetology. On December 16, 1973, she married Vernon Earl Renne who preceded her in death on September 16, 2011. Sue Ellen was owner/operator of Sue Ellen’s Hair Fashions in Carrollton where she enjoyed visiting with her clients, fixing hair and doing makeup. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Carrollton and enjoyed anything outdoors especially fishing, hunting and gardening.

Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Hemme (Kent) of Grain Valley, MO; one son, Jason Earl Renne of Carrollton; two granddaughters, Hailey Hemme and Sidney Hemme; one brother, Steven Reuter (Cara) of Overland Park, KS; brother-in-law, Gerry Frankenfeld of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sue Ellen was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Frankenfeld.
