The Missouri Valley College cheer team will continue its run of appearances in the NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship.

The team learned Monday, March 17 that they would be one of five teams earning an at-large berth into the 15-team competition, set for March 28 and 29 in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Vikings currently rank tenth in the season-long standings, having earned an average score of 87.22 across six scored competitions. Heart of America Athletics Conference champions Grand View will join Missouri Valley in Michigan, as will defending national champions St Ambrose of Iowa. Missouri Valley is one of six programs that has appeared at all nine national championship contests.
