Benton Raymond Leasure, 76, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025, surrounded by family.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the National Stroke Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born December 2, 1948, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Benton Francis Leasure and Virginia Elizabeth Miller Leasure. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked at the Marshall Habilitation and had various maintenance jobs. He loved to fish, was an avid Chiefs fan, enjoyed listening to older country music, and loved being around his family and friends. He loved his dog Sam.

Survivors include three children, Bryan Leasure (Jacqueline) and Randy Leasure (Katrina) of Columbia, MO; and Lisa Riley (Charles) of Marshall; seven grandchildren, Blake Leasure, Leslie Leasure, Kathleen Riley, Cheyenne Leasure, Thomas Murray, Kimberly Riley and Savanna Leasure; two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Schuster and Ingrid Velasquez; one sister, Betty Henderson of Columbia; one niece, Carla Glasgow; and one nephew, Beau Wichert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Loraine Leasure on April 13, 2017; and a grandson, Luke Leasure.
