A 66-year-old Clinton man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on northbound Missouri 13 on Friday, March 21.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred when a motorcycle driven by the Clinton man traveled off the right side of the road, struck a MoDOT sign, ejecting the driver. The accident occurred at 1:49 p.m. on northbound Missouri 13, south of the Bus 13 south junction.

The driver was taken to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
