The Cole Camp Bluebirds evened their record to 1-1 on the season by knocking off the Santa Fe/Norborne Chiefs on Monday, March 24 by a final score of 11-0.

Cole Camp used a big eight-run second inning to secure the lead and added three more in the third to solidify the win. Cole Camp scored 11 runs on seven hits with two errors, while Santa Fe score no runs on one hit while committing four errors in the field. Senior Kolby Bohon picked up the win for Cole Camp by tossing three innings of no-hit ball, walking two, and striking out four. Thad Hopkins took the loss for the Chiefs, throwing an inning and a third, allowing seven runs on five hits.

The Chiefs will next host the Northwest Mustangs on Wednesday. while the Bluebirds travel to Concordia to take on the Saints of St. Paul Lutheran, a game you can listen to Tuesday afternoon at kmmo.com. Pregame at 4:50, and the first pitch at 5 p.m.
