Governor Mike Kehoe has appointed a Fayette business owner and Versailles area farmer to positions on state boards.

The Governor’s office announced Monday, March 24 the re-appointment of Christopher Rohlfing to the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board. Rohlfing operates an agribusiness near Fayette and has served on the veterinary board for 10 years, and is the current president of Howard County Farm Bureau. He previously worked as a member services manager at Boone Electric Cooperative and as an independent crop insurance agent.

Governor Kehoe also announced the appointment of former state representative Rodney Schad to the State Environmental Improvement and Energy Resources Authority. Schad raises cattle, corn, soybeans and wheat on his family’s farm near Versailles. He served in the state house from 2005 to 2012 and then two terms on the Morgan County Commission. Schad has also served on the Missouri Public Defender Commission.
