The Odessa Board of Aldermen voted to adopt the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget during its meeting on Monday, March 24.

The board held a discussion prior to approving the budget. City Administrator Shawna Davis says the board highlighted several necessary changes in this budget.

Aldermen then approved both readings of an ordinance adopting the budget. The next fiscal year ends March 31, 2026. Davis also noted that all of the budget documents will be available on the city’s website.

The board also voted to approve the Capital Improvement Plan and city’s Fee Schedule for the next fiscal year.
