
The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout Johnson, Pettis, and Saline County from March 31 to April 4. All work is weather permitting.
Bridge flushing work is taking place in several areas in Johnson County on Monday and Tuesday. The work is beginning Monday on Route DD between Southeast 611 Road and Northeast 751 Road, and Route E between Route MM and Route CC. Flagging operations will be in effect. The work will then take place on U.S. Highway 50 between Devasher Road and Southeast 501 Road on Tuesday. Intermittent lane closures will be in place. The work is taking place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m each day.
Pipe replacement work is scheduled at several locations in Pettis County throughout the week. The work is taking place on Route HH between Missouri Highway 135 and Smith Road on Monday and Tuesday. Crew will be working on Route B between Highway 127 and Purchase Road on Wednesday, and between Lake Road and Templeton Road on Thursday. Full closures will be in effect for these projects.
Pipe replacement work is also scheduled on Route BB and Route N in Saline County, which will lead to full closures at various sections of these roadways from Tuesday through Friday.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
