Election authorities in two counties will conduct public tests of their tabulating equipment Thursday, April 3, ahead of next week’s general municipal election.

Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton has announced that her office will conduct their test beginning at 9 a.m. at her office on the north side of the square in Marshall. A similar test in Johnson County, announced by clerk Diane Thompson, is scheduled for that morning at 8:30 a.m. in the first floor staging room of the courthouse in Warrensburg.

Members of the public, including candidates and registered voters, are welcome to observe the testing.
