A community cleanup event is scheduled for the residents of Johnson County on Saturday, April 12.

Several kinds of items can be collected, including furniture, clothes, electronic scrap, bulk debris, and two appliances per home. Tires may also be collected at the cost of $2 for the first four, and $5 for any extra. Freon-based appliances like window units and refrigerators will not be accepted. Yard waste will also not be collected.

Items will only be accepted by Johnson County residents, not commercial businesses.

The items will be accepted at 326 East North Street in Warrensburg from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone with questions should call 660-619-3652.
