Marshall Police responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday, March 31 that saw both drivers sent to a nearby hospital.

According to the department, officers responded to the crash around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 65 and Arrow. While the official report is pending, a spokesperson for the department tells KMMO that the driver of a pickup experienced a medical issue that resulted in the driver running a red light. The truck then struck an SUV that had turned from Arrow onto southbound U.S. 65. The truck’s driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital, while the other driver was also treated at the hospital.
