
Larry Ray Clark, 73, of rural Sweet Springs, MO, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born August 25, 1951, in Independence, MO, he was the son of the late Lyle Clark and Cora Dent Clark. Larry began a career with UPS and retired from there after 33 years of service. On June 12, 2002, he married Betty Arlene Simmons Williams who survives of the home. Larry enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, helping at Girl Scout camps where he taught archery, but most of all, he loved his family. Larry lived in the rural Sweet Springs area for over 20 years and attended Southside Assembly of God in Marshall.
In addition to his wife, Betty; he is survived by children: Elizabeth Clark Fish (Brock), Patricia Clark Gutridge (Matthew), Teresa Ramsdill (Loren), Kenneth E. Williams, Scott Patrick and Frank Patrick; one sister, Barbara Clark; numerous grandchildren, including: Brittany A. Simmons Meineka (Cory) and their children Ana and Addi, Sierra L. Rezabek (Ryan) and their son, Bennett; Alivia Walbourn; Jase Fish, Tilly, Ella and Lettie Porterfield; Penelope and baby girl to be, Olivia; as well as other extended family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Cora; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Betty Simmons; a brother-in-law, Leonard “Junior” Simmons II (Edna); and a great-grandson, Remington J.D. Loesing.
