Two Johnson County residents were injured in an accident on a St. Clair County roadway during the early morning hours of Monday, April 7.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old Warrensburg man ran off the roadway while traveling along Route C in Iconium. The vehicle then struck a culvert, overturned, and ejected both occupants of the vehicle.

The Warrensburg man and a 32-year-old Centerview woman had serious injuries in the crash.

The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Route C in St. Clair County.
