The St Louis Blues allowed the go-ahead goal with 21 seconds remaining, falling to the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 on Wednesday, April 9 at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

McDavid also assisted on Brown’s first goal that tied the game early in the second period, and on Vasily Podkolzin’s goal 11 minutes later that put the Blues on the back skate the rest of the night.

Ryan Suter opened the scoring nearly nine minutes into the game with a short-handed goal, while Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich recorded goals in the third period that kept the Blues within striking distance. The Blues outshot the Oilers 26-23, but could not secure the win, instead getting swept in the season series by the Pacific Division’s third-place team,
