A boil order has been issued for certain Consolidated Public Water Supply District #1 customers in Howard County.

The boil advisory has been issued due to a leak that was detected by the Howard County Regional Water Commission. The advisory was issued immediately on Thursday, and will continue until 9 a.m. Saturday, April 12, unless otherwise notified. The residents affected include CPWSD #1 water customers located at Highway 5 and adjacent gravel roads north of New Franklin, customers located east of New Franklin on State P to Highway 240, as well as all customers in the Fayette Zip Code.
