The Kansas City Royals rallied in the seventh inning to defeat the Minnesota Twins 3-2 on Thursday, taking three of four in the series.

Salvador Perez got Kansas City up early with an RBI single in the bottom of the first. Ty France would tie the game in the second with his second home run of the season.

The game remained tied until Ryan Jeffers hit a go-ahead, RBI single for the Twins in the sixth inning.

The Kansas City bats would wake up an inning later, with Jonathan India tying the game with an RBI single, and Bobby Witt Jr. hitting a go-ahead sac fly to give the Royals the lead for good.

Michael Wacha got a no-decision for his efforts, going 5.1 innings, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks. Daniel Lynch IV got the win and Carlos Estévez earned his fourth save of the season.

The Royals improve to 7-6 on the season. Kansas is back on the road Friday to take on the Cleveland Guardians for a three game series. Kris Bubic gets the start for Kansas City. Pregame begins at 4:30 p.m., with first pitch at 5:10 on KMMO AM 1300.
