The game remained tied until Ryan Jeffers hit a go-ahead, RBI single for the Twins in the sixth inning.
The Kansas City bats would wake up an inning later, with Jonathan India tying the game with an RBI single, and Bobby Witt Jr. hitting a go-ahead sac fly to give the Royals the lead for good.
Michael Wacha got a no-decision for his efforts, going 5.1 innings, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks. Daniel Lynch IV got the win and Carlos Estévez earned his fourth save of the season.
