A relatively recent tradition for Mizzou Football will continue this August, as the Tigers will once again kick off the season on a Thursday night.

University of Missouri Athletics announced Thursday, April 10 that the season opener against Central Arkansas will move up to the evening of Aug. 28. Kickoff time at Faurot Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. It’ll be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Bears from Conway. It’s also the fourth consecutive season that Mizzou will open the season on a Thursday night, and will be the first of six consecutive home games to start the season.
