A two-vehicle crash in downtown Warrensburg on Saturday, April 12 sent both drivers involved to an area hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Warrensburg police responded to the collision around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of N. College and E. Culton.  According to the patrol, a 20-year-old man from Independence was driving north on College when he failed to slow down for a 23-year-old Warrensburg man that had entered the intersection going westbound, resulting in the collision. The Warrensburg driver suffered moderate injury was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The Independence driver had no reported injuries, but a 20-year-old passenger from Defiance was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
