The City of Sedalia will move their trash collection schedule up a day this week in observance of Good Friday.
The holiday on Friday means that residents whose trash collection is normally on Tuesday will need to have their carts to the curb the morning of Monday, April 14, and so on. Sanitation crews will also conduct their annual clean sweep in the next week for residents between Broadway and E. 13th Street that live east of Ohio.
Because of the Good Friday holiday, offices in the Sedalia Municipal Building will close Friday, April 18, then reopen Monday. The city’s materials management site will remain open Friday and Saturday, but close Sunday, April 20 for Easter.
