
The Concordia Board of Aldermen held discussions regarding the the city’s IT and Cybersecurity needs during its most recent meeting.
The board reviewed presentations from InfiniTech Consulting, RTI, and AccruIT during meetings in February and March. After some consideration, the board authorized City Administrator Dale Klussman to draft an ordinance awarding the contract to InfiniTech. Klussman says one of the appeals of InfiniTech was its good working relationship with several surrounding municipalities.
The will consider the approval of this ordinance during its next meeting.
In other news, the board held a discussion with Tim Trigg of SMICO Services regarding potential sewer line maintenance projects in the city. Klussman says the city will work with Trigg on a scope of work for the sewer line projects, and review any quotes from SMICO at a future meeting.
