
Pavement projects are continuing in several area counties Monday through Thursday, with some crews pausing for Good Friday.
The Missouri Department of Transportation continues to repair the surface of Route T in Boone and Randolph counties from Route F to Route B, while crews in Cooper County will focus on the resurfacing of routes P and W this week. In Howard County, pavement repairs are scheduled for Route 5 in Fayette between Davis Street and Park Avenue, as well as Route 124 between Routes 240 and Y, and Route 240 from Route 40 north to County Road 434. Work also continues on Route A from Route B to 124, and Route EE between routes A and J. One lane will remain open during the work, and crews will flag motorists through the work zone. Portions of Route ZZ in Linn County will close this week between Route WW and Morton Road for pothole patching, each day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In Carroll County, rehabilitation of the Camp Creek Bridge is set for Friday, with the roadway reduced to one lane. Bridge maintenance is also scheduled in Chariton County along Route P at the Puzzle Creek Bridge on Friday, and Route E at the Turkey Creek Bridge beginning Monday.
