A pair of election judges spent part of Tuesday, April 15 taking part in the certification process to make the results of last week’s General Municipal Election in Saline County official.

Election judges Pam LaFrenz and Vickie Wise spend just over 90 minutes hand-counting the 213 ballots cast in Sweet Springs, the precinct that judges randomly drew at the beginning of the process that took place at the Saline County Clerk’s office. Clerk Brittni Burton says the machine count that followed matched the results announced on election night.

Turnout for last week’s election in Saline County totaled 11.9 percent.
