Missouri Valley Vikings golfer Chad Coburn has his second golfer of the week award from the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Coburn earned the conference honor Monday, April 14 following his five-stroke victory at the MoValley Spring Invite over the weekend. He posted a score of six under par to win the invite, including a -5 (67) in the second round. Coburn also won conference golfer of the week honors two weeks ago.

The Viking men’s golf team is competing at the Heart Championship on Tuesday in Overland Park, Ks. They’re currently in sixth with a team score of +69, 35 strokes behind MidAmerica Nazarene. Coburn’s teammate Sebastian Liffers is tied for tenth in the individual standings, ten strokes behind Gavin Dines of Baker. Liffers is tied with five other golfers, including Garrett Rikel of Central Methodist.
