The City of Moberly has issued a water service interruption notice for several city blocks following an emergency water main valve repair Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Crews have closed the intersection of South 5th and Logan to complete the needed repairs. When service is restored, Moberly residents along the 500 block of West Logan, 500 block of West Lee, 400 block of West Carpenter, and the 400 and 500 blocks of South Fifth, will be under a boil advisory for 48 hours. Residents who have experienced low water pressure, or had lost water service will need to bring any water used for consumption to a boil for three minutes, then cooled before drinking.
