Three Centerview residents were injured after their vehicle went off a Johnson County roadway just before noon Sunday, April 20.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that a 25-year-old man was driving an SUV south on Route UU, about seven miles northwest of Warrensburg. The driver went off the right side of the roadway near NW 400 Road, causing the SUV to overturn. A 27-year-old woman in the vehicle suffered moderate injury and was taken to a nearby hospital. A seven-year-old boy experienced minor injuries and was also treated at the hospital. The driver had minor injuries but refused treatment. Troopers say the driver and the boy were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, while the woman was not.
