The City of Moberly completed valve repairs on Monday, April 21, and has issued a boil advisory for residents with low and no water pressure.
City crews completed valve repairs at 5th and Carpenter Streets, which affected residents on various blocks of South Williams Street, South 4th Street, South 5th Street, West Lee Street, and West Carpenter Street and surrounding areas.
The city has issued a boil advisory for any resident with low or no water pressure following the valve repairs. Boil advisories are due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for three minutes and cooled before drinking.
Customers with questions should call the water office at 660-263-4420.
