Patricia Ann “Pat” Hammer, 89, of rural Miami, MO, died Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Robbie Ludy and William W. Harlow officiating.  Memorials are suggested to Malta Bend Cemetery and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born July 13, 1935, in Boonville, MO, she was the daughter of the late Joseph William Stockmann and Lona Bell Shoemaker Stockmann.  Pat lived in Saline County her entire life, graduated from Malta Bend High School in 1953, and attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg.  She was an Avon representative for many years.  Pat was a member of the Patsy Gregg Chapter D.A.R. for 65 years, a faithful member of the Marshall Community Theater and The Coterie Club.  Even though she was hearing impaired since she was 17 years old, she loved music, especially music from the big band era.

Survivors include three children: Elizabeth Ann Hague (Dave) of Sedalia, Michael Joseph “Ernie” Hammer (Rosie) of Marshall and Christine Marie Erickson (Kevin) of Marshall; 11 grandchildren: Ashley Boock (Kevin), Bobbi Gibson, Amber Plaggemeyer (Jim), Michael Hammer Jr., Eric Hague (Natalie), Anna Hunter (Cody), Bethany Erickson, Danasia Hammer, Hunter Erickson, Haylee Erickson, Adriana Hammer;  six great-grandchildren: Joscie Curry, Landon Curry, Kaiden Boock, Kai Plaggemeyer, Gunner Hunter and Charlie Havard; two nephews, Joe Stockmann of Liberty and Jim Stockmann of Waynesville; and one niece, Julie Wood of Moberly.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam J. Hammer; one brother, Joseph John “Skip” Stockmann; and a brother in infancy.
