Mary Ann Moore, 96, of Slater, died Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Slater City Cemetery, with Larry Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 10:45 Thursday at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.

Born March 9, 1929 in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Romine, Sr. and Rosie Taylor Romine. On October 28, 1950 in Marshall, she married Ester L. Moore, and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2006.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Alexander of Rolling Hills Estates, California, and Nancy Lewis and her husband Danny of Slater; and grandson, Christopher Lewis. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl “Mike” Romine and Frank Romine.

Mrs. Moore was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater, and a lifelong Saline County resident.
