The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved a resolution executing a service agreement with InfiniTech Consulting for managed IT and advanced cyber security support during its meeting Monday, April 21.
City Administrator Dale Klussman noted this ordinance was several weeks in the making, but the board really prioritized cybersecurity services when making this decision.
RTI and AccruIT were also considered, but the board went with InfiniTech Consulting.
The board also approved a resolution demonstrating commitment to public safety and reduction of violent crime. Klussman says this resolution helps the city achieve Missouri Blue Shield designation, which allows communities to access state grants for law enforcement training and equipment.
